Workout: DT’s Row 2 Hold Fast 2025

Workout Duration: 2 hours
Teams of 4: The workout runs continuously, broken into four 30-minute segments. There is always one person rowing.

Team Roles

  • Partner 1: Starts on the rower

  • Partners 2 & 3: “Pacer” pair. Perform the workout movements

  • Partner 4: Handles the Jenga challenge (details below)

Segments 1 & 3 (0:00–30:00 and 1:00–1:30)

Movement: Dumbbell “DT” - 6 rounds total
Each round:

  • 12 Deadlifts

  • 9 Hang Cleans

  • 6 Shoulder-to-Overheads

Weights: 50/35 lb dumbbell (RX)

Format: “You go, I go”

  • Partner 2 completes rounds 1, 3, and 5

  • Partner 3 completes rounds 2, 4, and 6

When the sixth round is finished, rotate:

  • Rower → joins pacers

  • Pacer → goes to Jenga

  • Jenga → moves to rower

Segments 2 & 4 (30:00–1:00 and 1:30–2:00)

Movements:

  • Ab-Mat Sit-Ups (with 25/15 lb plate)

  • Burpees to Plate

Format: “You go, I go” ladder

  • Partner 2 performs plate sit-ups (1–10 reps)

  • Partner 3 performs burpees to plate (1–10 reps)

Alternate back and forth. Rep scheme may be adjusted as needed.

Rotate in the same way as above after the final set.

Jenga Station

Partner 4 pulls a Jenga block during each rotation. Each block has a number that corresponds to an action on the Jenga board - it could be a bonus task or a challenge (something good or… not so good).

Rotation Summary

  1. One teammate is always rowing.

  2. The pacer pair performs the workout segment movements.

  3. The Jenga partner completes their task.

  4. When the pacer segment ends → everyone rotates:

    • Jenga → Rower

    • Rower → Pacers

    • Pacer → Jenga
